AITA School of Tennis Management (ASTM) is an initiative of All India Tennis Association Trust (AITA Trust). Tennis is one of the fastest growing sports in the world and India is no exception. India has a rich history in Tennis and has produced world class players like Ramanathan Krishnan, Ramesh Krishnan, Vijay Amritraj, Leander Peas, Mahesh Bhupathi, Rohan Bopanna, Somdev Devvarman, Sania Mirza, Yuki Bhambri.
All India Tennis Association organizes almost 40-50 weeks of International tournaments and more than 1000 Domestic tournaments across India annually. Tennis administrators of the highest standards are required to ensure smooth, seamless and efficient conduct of these tournaments. Additionally, more and more children are playing tennis today and the availability of well qualified, trained coaches is imperative for the growth and development of tennis in India.
ASTM was started with the intention of imparting world class education and training to young aspiring Tennis coaches and officials from all over the country, especially from the lower strata of society, and provide them with a compelling career pathway.
One of the overarching philosophies of this initiative is the desire on the part of AITA Trust to ensure that all deserving candidate have access to ASTM irrespective of their financial background and capabilities. AITA Trust intends to extend financial support and assistance to deserving candidates so as to enable them to fulfill their dreams and ambitions.
